I love it when you care for me

The room was spinning…and it just wouldn’t stop.  The throbbing in his head didn’t help either.  His vision started to blur as well.  Moments later he was engulfed in darkness.  The sound of a loud thump onto a wooden floor was the last thing he heard, and the sharp pain through his body as he fell to the cool floor.

He woke up to a white ceiling.  Blinking multiple times before trying to lean up, which was a bad idea.  He groaned, leaning over the bed and vomiting into the (lucky for him) trash can by it.  

‘Next time…don’t get up so fast…’ Fai thought to himself.  His body felt like dead weight.  And it wouldn’t even allow him to get up anymore.  So his only option was to lie back down.  He did so, his head plopping back onto the cool, plush pillows.  The sound of a door opening led him to reopen his eyes, and turn his head towards the door.  

“Hey there, Kuro-rin!” He said trying to smile, but only managing a half smile.  The male glared at him, putting a cool cloth on top of Fai’s head.

“Why didn’t you tell me you weren’t feeling good??” He asked, annoyed.

Fai sighed contently as the cool water washed over he once burning forehead.  “Because I thought it wouldn’t be so bad.” Fai replied.

“Well, apparently it is, idiot.” Kurogane said, taking a seat on the edge of the bed, his arm crossed.

“Yeah….but I’m your idiot, right?” Fai asked smiling at Kurogane.  Kurogane sighed, gently cupping the side of Fai’s face before leaning down and kissing the side of Fai’s mouth gently.  Fai smiled at Kurogane once he broke away.

“Yeah…”

“You do know now you’ll probably get sick too now, right?” Fai said.

“Che, like that’ll happen to me, unlike you, I don‘t get sick.  Now get some more rest, idiot.”  Kurogane stated, rolling his eyes.  

Fai curled up closer to Kurogane, resting his head on the man’s lap.  “Good..” He mumbled before drifting back into sleep.
